I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Professional Art Therapist based in my home town of Revelstoke, BC. I work with both adults and youth. Using an integrative approach, I draw inspiration from different perspectives, focusing on a strong therapeutic relationship and the development of self-awareness through the creative use of art as well as talk therapy.

As an art therapist, I have experienced the benefit of using creative expression and inquiry to guide clients through some of life’s complex and difficult challenges such as:

• chronic pain and illness
• climate distress

My practice is informed by my graduate training in culturally responsive and social justice counselling and I understand the complexity of challenges that negatively impact mental health. I approach counselling from the perspective of hope and resilience and with the understanding that we all seek meaning and human connection in our lives.
